The 44Cup’s trial boat, which teams can use to gain first-hand experience racing within the fleet, will be taken in Marstrand and Scheveningen by businessman Jan Scholtes and a crew combining seasoned professionals with promising young talent, including sailors from the 2024 DutchSail America's Cup team.

"Over the past three years, we've competed in events such as the ORC World Championship in Kiel, the ORC European Championship in Alland, the North Sea Race, and several regattas in the Netherlands. In 2025, with the RC44 World Championship coming to Scheveningen, we were offered the exciting opportunity to participate in RC44 events both there and in Marstrand. To take on this challenge, we've brought together our members from our Warp 5 crew with several experienced RC44 sailors.
